The Himalayan Grill, family owned and operated, is a fantastic addition to the dining possibilities in the Long Beach area. It has great tasting food, unique in many ways in the area, reasonable prices, a fine atmosphere and excellent service. Give it a try; you won’t be disappointed

How an Indian restaurant finds Flagstaff, Ariz., for its location is almost as mystifying to me as its choice for a second spot in Sunset Beach. Then I had a bite of the Himalayan Grill’s tandoori chicken and it all made sense to me. With my second bite I figured the restaurateurs could open a restaurant on the North Pole, and they would need to take reservations.

Usually I don’t write about 1-week old restaurants, because it’s just not fair to cast judgment when a place is just getting its feet wet. But the Himalayan Grill is a precocious little joint that apparently doesn’t need any warm-up period to reach peak performance.

| I don't even know how to sum up how much I enjoyed this restaurant. The staff was nice and professional, the ambiance was inspirational, the music which played softly in the background was beautiful, and the food was fantastic! All this at an extremely reasonable price. I can't wait to return...this isn't just food..it's an experience! |
